R.J.K. Gardens, Inc. has been in business since 1960, with the
president, Richard J. Kuri, in charge since 1977.
Richard Kuri Sr. came to America during the depression and worked in the restaurant field during the 30's, 40's and 50's. When economics changed for him in 1960, he decided to try his own business part time in something he loved, building and maintaining landscape. As he was a very artistic man, he loved to create an image that came to him. So, in 1960 he started our company.
Our company is a full service landscape company that is licensed and insured. We provide everything from landscape design, stone retaining walls, ponds and waterfalls, patios and terraces, driveways, aprons, plantings and transplanting, to season-to-season grounds care. We also provide power washing, gutter cleaning, snowplowing and shoveling, and delivering of seasoned firewood. We have an in-house landscape designer and a certified I.C.P.I. and N.C.M.A. installer.
